SRG Bern against cuts at Swissinfo

Public service The radio and television cooperative Bern-Deutschfreiburg-Oberwallis RGB is defending itself against the SRG management's downsizing plans with a resolution, demanding that Swissinfo remain in Bern and continue to broadcast "multilingual and diverse information" about Switzerland. Swiss TXT should also remain in Biel/Bienne. The RGB wants to lobby the governments of the cantons of Bern, Fribourg and Valais and their parliamentarians to ensure that the SRG receives sufficient funding.
