Outdoor advertising The government of the Canton of Thurgau has submitted a ban on advertising for alcohol and tobacco for consultation, thus implementing a motion that the Grand Council declared to be of considerable importance in summer 2003. The bill prohibits poster advertising for alcohol and tobacco on public property and on private property that can be seen from public property.
