Clear Channel acquires Plakatron

PlakatClear Channel Plakanda (CCP) acquires the outdoor advertising company Plakatron. The Group is thus expanding its offering with around 700 illuminated billboards using prism turner technology. For the time being at least, CCP CEO Beat Roeschlin will be in charge of management, while company founder Gustav C. Maurer is stepping down. The Plakatron brand will be retained in any case; the operational employees will continue to work for CCP. It is still unclear whether the accounting department staff will continue to be employed.
