Best of Swiss Apps 2026: Submit Your Digital Projects Now
The call for entries for Best of Swiss Apps 2026 is now open. Digital solutions developed for Swiss clients or implemented by Swiss contractors can be submitted through Thursday, September 3, 2026. An independent panel of experts will evaluate the submitted projects and recognize the best ones in nine categories.
Nine Categories for Best of Swiss Apps 2026
From Business Impact to Extended Interaction to User Experience—the competition features nine categories for innovative app projects. Participants choose the categories in which their project can best showcase its strengths. According to the organizers, a careful selection of categories, combined with a compelling submission package, lays the foundation for a well-informed evaluation by the expert jury.
Swico Supports Startups Through Its Own Program
Through its startup support program, Swico will once again support three young companies in their participation in 2026. The trade association will cover the costs of submitting projects in two categories, each valued at CHF 1,500. The funded projects will participate in the competition as usual and will be evaluated by expert juries. The application deadline for the support program is Thursday, August 27, 2026.
Software Projects: "Best of Swiss Software" as a Supplement
In addition to the app competition, there is a separate award called “Best of Swiss Software” for outstanding Swiss software projects—also divided into five categories. So if you’ve developed a software project rather than an app, you’ll find a suitable platform to submit your entry there.
