The real estate platform newhome is strengthening its top leadership body with a prominent figure from the communications industry: Prof. Dr. Dominique von Matt has been elected to the Board of Directors. At the same time, Laurent Decrue is taking on the role of Vice Chairman of the Board, while Jan Werkmann is stepping down from the board. According to newhome, these personnel changes send a clear signal regarding the brand’s further development and the strengthening of its regional roots.
Founder of Jung von Matt with an extensive network
Dominique von Matt brings extensive expertise in the areas of branding, marketing, public relations, and strategic corporate management. He is the founder of the communications agency Jung von Matt in Zurich, which he led as CEO for 22 years and shaped as chairman of the board for 32 years. Today, through his firm von Matt/second opinion, he advises companies on strategic decisions regarding branding and marketing. In addition, he serves on the boards of directors of the NZZ, Faigle, and Go4Balance, among others. As an honorary professor at the University of St. Gallen and honorary president of the Society for Marketing (gfm), he is also committed to the academic and professional advancement of marketing.

The board brings together proven expertise in the fields of real estate, finance, digitalization, media, and brand management. According to the announcement, the operational management of the real estate portal remains unchanged.
