Digital Focus for Andreas Thut CSI

In his new role, Andreas Thut is responsible for the strategic and operational development of all marketing and communications activities with a focus on digital media. According to the press release, his responsibilities range from digital marketing strategy and communications management to editorial leadership of publications and media relations in Switzerland. CSI Managing Director Simon Brechbühl is confident: «Andreas Thut’s qualities as a digital communications professional will play a key role in effectively communicating CSI’s goals and messages in the future as well.»

Thut himself cites a personal conviction as the reason for his move: «For years, I have seen how CSI combines political advocacy with concrete on-the-ground assistance, for example in its work to defend the rights of the Armenians in Karabakh. That’s what convinced me. Freedom of religion and freedom of expression are important to me, and I look forward to putting my experience to work for these causes.»

Rolf Höneisen is retiring

His predecessor, Rolf Höneisen, shaped CSI’s communications for years. Brechbühl pays tribute to his work: «With his extensive experience and sound judgment, Rolf Höneisen has further developed CSI’s communications across all channels. We are grateful that he will continue to serve as our advisor.»
