Franz&René and pharmaSuisse: "Green Light" Campaign
The glowing green pharmacy cross as the central theme: With the national 360° campaign «Green Light,» pharmaSuisse, the Alliance of Healthcare Retailers (GFH), and FRANZ&René are raising awareness of the wide range of health services offered by Swiss pharmacies.

«Green Light» Campaign: The Pharmacy Cross as a "Go"
The new national «Green Light» campaign has been running since June 1, 2026—developed by FRANZ&René on behalf of the Swiss Pharmacists’ Association pharmaSuisse and the Alliance for Healthcare Retail (GFH). The “Green Light” campaign aims to show that pharmacies are much more than just places to pick up medications: whether it’s skin problems, vaccinations, check-ups, or walk-in consultations—many health concerns can be assessed and treated on the spot without an appointment.
The central idea is based on a symbol that is recognized throughout Switzerland: the bright green pharmacy cross. FRANZ&René developed the «Green Light» concept from this—a positive «go» signal for visiting the pharmacy. Instead of focusing on illnesses or symptoms, the campaign shows people who receive straightforward support and can go about their daily lives feeling good, according to the press release.
360° experience with video and natural imagery
As a national 360° campaign, «Grünes Licht» is being rolled out via digital outdoor advertising, online and social media channels, and directly in pharmacies. According to the company, the campaign features short video formats and a natural, dynamic visual style. In June, the focus is on skin health; in September, the campaign is set to expand to include additional topics such as consultations, vaccinations, and check-ups.
Patrik Lindén was in charge of film production; Rockenfeller & Göbels handled production, and ZipMedia handled media planning. Two video clips for the campaign are already online:
Pharmacies as Low-Threshold Health Care Settings
With «Grünes Licht,» pharmaSuisse is positioning pharmacies as accessible, hassle-free health care providers—with no need for an appointment and offering expert advice on the spot. According to the press release, the campaign thus raises awareness of health care services that many people may not be familiar with.
