IGEM 2026 General Assembly: Adform as a New Member
At the 2026 IGEM General Assembly, President Stephan Küng and the Executive Board were unanimously reelected. Adform joined as a new member, and approximately 120 guests networked over dinner at the Carlton Restaurant.

For 28 years, the Interest Group for Electronic Media (IGEM) has been advocating for diversity and transparency in the Swiss media landscape. At the 2026 IGEM General Assembly, the president and the board were unanimously re-elected, Adform was welcomed as a new member—and a networking event in Zurich subsequently brought the industry together for in-person exchanges.
IGEM General Assembly Re-elects President and Board of Directors
IGEM was founded in 1998 and has been representing the interests of the electronic media in Switzerland ever since. Representatives from the 44 member companies were present at the 28th General Assembly. Board member Mehmet Inan was given a warm send-off. The members unanimously re-elected President Stephan Küng (TWmedia) and all board members standing for re-election for another term.

Adform Strengthens the IGEM Network
With the addition of Adform, the integrated advertising platform for digital marketing, the IGEM network is set to grow further. By mid-year, the association will have 45 corporate members. President Stephan Küng commented on the growth: «At the same time, it’s a strong sign that even after nearly three decades, new companies are still joining us—this confirms IGEM’s relevance to the electronic media in Switzerland.»

Commitment to Liberal Advertising Options and Transparency
According to its own statements, IGEM is actively committed to promoting liberal advertising opportunities in order to preserve and strengthen the diversity of electronic media in Switzerland. A key tool for this is the annual «Digimonitor» study, which provides representative data on media usage in Switzerland. Küng emphasizes: “Digitalization is fundamentally changing the media landscape and presenting our members with new challenges. With the annual ‘Digimonitor’ study, IGEM creates transparency regarding media usage in Switzerland and provides an important basis for strategic decisions.”

About 120 guests attended the networking event at Carlton Restaurant
Following the general meeting, IGEM members and market partners gathered for a networking event at the Carlton Restaurant in Zurich. Around 120 guests took advantage of the early summer atmosphere to engage in personal conversations and casual exchanges over dinner.
