20 Years of Maybaum Film: 600 Guests Celebrate in Baden
On May 29, 2026, Maybaum Film celebrated its 20th anniversary with more than 600 guests at the Merker site in Baden—and at the same time provided a preview of its planned Academy for Content Production.
20 Years of Maybaum Film: An Anniversary Looking Back and Looking Forward
Twenty years, more than 600 guests, and an evening full of connections: Maybaum Film celebrated its 20th anniversary on May 29, 2026, at the Merker-Areal in Baden. Clients, long-time associates, partner agencies, employees, and representatives of the Swiss communications industry came together to toast two decades of the company’s history.
With summer-like temperatures, guests were treated to a varied program: live music, movie screenings, VR games, indoor golf and darts challenges, as well as various food trucks and a wide selection of drinks made for a memorable evening. The anniversary celebration provided an opportunity for networking, reminiscing, and discussing the future of the communications and content industry.
From the Early Days to Today's Content Agency
During the evening, co-founders Laurent Ulrich and Michel Alraun looked back together on key milestones in the company’s history—from its first productions to the establishment of its own studios and its evolution into today’s content agency. «When we founded Maybaum Film 20 years ago, we could never have imagined the journey that lay ahead,» said Ulrich. «What began as a small project among friends has grown into a company with more than 20 employees. This anniversary is a wonderful moment to pause and reflect on all the projects, challenges, and successes that have shaped us.»
Michel Alraun added: «The best part of this evening was seeing how many people are part of this story. Many of our guests have been with us for years, some even since the very beginning. The fact that so many customers, partners, and friends celebrated with us shows just how valuable these relationships are to us.»
Outlook: Planned Academy to Mark the Next Chapter in Maybaum Film’s 20-Year History
In addition to looking back, the founders also used the celebrations to offer a first glimpse of upcoming projects. With plans to establish an academy as a recognized training center, the company aims to provide hands-on training in the areas of content production, storytelling, distribution, marketing, and artificial intelligence. According to the press release, this initiative is intended to help foster the next generation of creative talent. The anniversary celebration thus marked not only a milestone in the history of Maybaum Film but also the start of the company’s next chapter.
Maybaum Film is an owner-managed, full-service video production company headquartered in Baden, with branches in Bern and Zurich. The company has four independent camera crews, its own green screen and video podcast studio, as well as an in-house post-production facility with eight editing suites, a sound booth, a color-grading suite, and an in-house distribution department. Since 2020, Maybaum has been operating as a stock corporation and is a member of the Swissfilm Association.
