Wingo Brand Refresh: Brandpulse and Bold Sharpen the Brand Profile
The branding agency Brandpulse has repositioned the Swisscom brand Wingo through a comprehensive strategy and branding process. The campaign, which builds on the refreshed brand foundation, was developed by the Bern-based agency Bold. With the positioning «simply powerful,» Wingo aims to establish itself as a challenger brand for a digitally-oriented target audience.

Wingo Brand Refresh: New Positioning for the Swiss Telecommunications Market
The Zurich-based branding agency Brandpulse has carried out a comprehensive Wingo brand refresh for Wingo, a brand belonging to the Swisscom Group. The project encompassed brand strategy, positioning, and the further development of the visual identity—thereby laying the groundwork for the advertising campaign conceived by the Bern-based agency Bold.

«Simply powerful» as a strategic core
The project centered on the development of the new positioning, «simply powerful.» Based on in-depth market, target audience, and brand analyses, Brandpulse developed the brand strategy designed to position Wingo as a distinct challenger brand within Swisscom’s multi-brand strategy—with a clear focus on digital simplicity, flexibility, and strong performance. The goal of the brand refresh was to sharpen Wingo’s positioning in the dynamic Swiss telecommunications market and align the brand more closely with the expectations of a digitally savvy target audience.

Updated visual identity and flexible design system
In addition to the strategic realignment, the Wingo brand refresh also included the further development of the visual identity. Existing brand elements, such as the signature Wingo red and the logo, were modernized and refined to further strengthen the brand’s recognizability and distinctiveness. The result is a flexible design system that can be applied across all digital and physical touchpoints. The new brand identity is intended to position Wingo more effectively, particularly among a younger, digitally savvy target audience.

Support from analysis through to creative implementation
Brandpulse supported the project from brand analysis through positioning to the creative implementation of the new visual identity. The campaign, which builds on the renewed brand foundation, was developed by the Bern-based agency Bold.
