CH Media's Federal Parliament Bureau Expands with Schäfer and Zahno

CH Media is expanding its political coverage: Fabian Schäfer, an experienced Federal Parliament correspondent, and Céline Zahno, an up-and-coming political journalist, will join CH Media’s Federal Parliament editorial team—specifically, the domestic news team for the daily newspapers and associated online portals—effective September 1, 2026. The two are expected to enrich the editorial team with their in-depth political knowledge and digital expertise.

Fabian Schäfer: 16 years of experience at the Bundeshaus

Fabian Schäfer (47) has had a long career in journalism. He began at the *Solothurner Zeitung*, moved to the *Solothurner Tagblatt* in 2001, and later to the *Berner Zeitung*. He has been reporting from the Federal Parliament for 16 years—and has served as head of the NZZ’s Federal Parliament editorial office since 2019. His broad expertise in tax and financial issues, the AHV, and EU affairs is expected to further enhance the political coverage of CH Media’s newspapers from Bern.

Céline Zahno: A Newcomer with Digital Expertise

Céline Zahno (25) has been working as a Federal Parliament correspondent for the Ringier publication *Blick* for the past year. Her investigative reporting earned her third place this year in the «Newcomer of the Year» category of the industry magazine *Schweizer Journalist:in*. A native of Seeland, she studied political science in Amsterdam and, according to CH Media, possesses extensive digital expertise.
