Nikin & Spatz collection make common cause
Two Swiss brands with shared roots in camping and the Scouting tradition bring a sustainable outdoor spirit to everyday life with the Nikin × Spatz collection—featuring products made from authentic tent fabric.

Nikin × Spatz collection: Tent feeling for everyday life
Camps, campfires, nights under the open sky - for many people in Switzerland, these are formative childhood memories. It is precisely from these shared roots that the Nikin × Spatz Collection: a collaboration between the sustainable fashion label Nikin and the cult tent brand Spatz, which transfers the tent feeling from the campsite to everyday life.
Camps as common roots
For generations of Scout, Jubla or Cevi members, a tent was part of childhood and youth - in many cases a Spatz tent. This is also where the origins of Nikin lie: the fashion label was founded in 2016 by two former scouts and has been actively committed to protecting nature ever since. The experiences from their time at camp have shaped the brand to this day.
Nikin has more in common with Spatz than just a love of nature. The traditional brand has stood for high-quality tents for decades and was returned to Swiss hands last year - a move that is said to have attracted attention throughout Switzerland and underlined the emotional significance of the brand.
Nicholas Hänny, co-founder of Nikin, describes the motivation behind the collaboration as follows: «For us, Spatz is a real love brand. Many of our fondest memories were made in these tents. This collab is therefore something very special for us.»
Diego Walder, owner of Spatz, adds: «Camping is more than just spending the night outside. It's about community, experiences and memories. That's exactly what we want to spread with this collaboration.»
Nikin × Spatz collection: Tent becomes everyday life
The joint collection includes T-shirts with pockets made from original Spatz tent fabric, caps and bags made from tent material and a poncho that can be transformed into a tent. The idea behind it: Spatz builds tents for outdoors, Nikin develops products for people who are at home outdoors - together they create pieces that are intended to bring the tent feeling into everyday life.
The collection is produced in Europe: T-shirts in Portugal, caps in Bulgaria and bags, ponchos and toilet bags in Switzerland. Original Spatz tent fabric is reused and integrated into new products - an approach that is in line with both Nikin's sustainability standards and Spatz's tradition of craftsmanship.
