Maybaum Film directs the image film for Frigo-Consulting with Rob Lewis
Maybaum Film is producing a promotional film for the engineering firm Frigo-Consulting that explores the intersection of climate, technology, and responsibility. The film, titled «Einfachen was vergeht,» combines footage from an ice grotto on the Matterhorn with glimpses inside refrigeration systems and was created in collaboration with Bern-based photographer Rob Lewis.

Frigo-Consulting is one of the leading engineering firms for refrigeration technology in Europe and is a specialist provider of CO₂ refrigeration planning in particular. The new image film is part of the company's realigned brand communication. Following a comprehensive rebranding, Frigo-Consulting is making targeted use of the medium of film to bring its sharpened brand identity to life. The focus is on technical precision, sustainable thinking and an understanding of innovation with a long-term perspective.
A glacier as a symbol of transience
The visual language thrives on the contrast between a changing glacial landscape and highly complex refrigeration technology. The ice grotto at an altitude of around 2,800 meters at the foot of the Matterhorn becomes a symbol for a fragile climate system - and for the question of how closely energy, temperature and responsibility are linked.
This visual juxtaposition captures the essence of Frigo-Consulting: the company develops refrigeration systems with high standards of sustainability, efficiency and future viability. Particularly impressive for the film team: the ice grotto has already visibly changed between scouting and production - a direct image of climate change and its dynamics.
Frigo-Consulting underlines this claim with its own research and development department. The aim is to plan systems with such foresight that regulatory and ecological requirements are taken into account at an early stage - sometimes years before they become binding.

Concept in cooperation with photographer Rob Lewis
The visual concept for the film was created in collaboration with Bern-based photographer Rob Lewis, who played a key role in shaping the visual world of the project. This was not only developed for the film, but also as the basis for Frigo-Consulting's further brand communication - from print and online to trade fair appearances. «A film is never made alone - that's exactly what made this interdisciplinary collaboration so special for me as a photographer. We worked on a shared vision as equals, in which everyone was able to play an active role and help shape the project,» summarizes Rob Lewis.
Internationality and rebranding
The image film was produced in three languages and addresses the global player's entire customer base and potential new customers. «Especially in technical industries, communication often consists of technical terms and the same phrases over and over again. With this film, we deliberately wanted to take a different approach and create a visual world that evokes emotions,» summarizes Ramona Aebi, Head of Marketing & Communication at Frigo-Consulting.
The filming in the high alpine environment was accompanied by experienced mountain guide Richard Lehner to ensure that the production was carried out safely and professionally in the challenging terrain.
