Watson Romandie strengthens editorial team with three star reporters
Five years after its launch in French-speaking Switzerland, watson Romandie is expanding its editorial team. The news portal, which now records over 70,000 daily visits, is hiring three experienced female journalists for investigative and regional reporting. Among them is Jean Dumur Prize winner Marie Parvex.

In March 2021, CH Media ventured into French-speaking Switzerland and launched watson Romandie. Five years later, the strategy has paid off. The news portal has established itself as an integral part of the digital media landscape in French-speaking Switzerland and now has over 70,000 daily visits.
Growth course with an investigative focus
For its next growth step, watson Romandie is increasingly focusing on regional and investigative reporting in the areas of politics, business and society. In order to realize these ambitions, the editorial team will be strengthened with three additional journalists from spring 2026.
Marie Parvex, who joins watson on April 1, is at the heart of the reinforcement. The investigative journalist worked for Tamedia until 2024 and is joining watson after a stint outside the industry. Parvex is the winner of the prestigious Jean Dumur journalism prize, one of the most important awards in Swiss journalism.
Experienced reporters from Blick
Two more experienced reporters are joining from Blick Romandie: Alessia Barbezat joined the team on March 1, while Daniella Gorbunova has been on board since January 1. With the new additions, 25 journalists will be reporting on events in the world and in French-speaking Switzerland in future.
"I am delighted to be strengthening the existing team with several renowned journalists. In future, we want to offer even more of our own research and reports from French-speaking Switzerland and further consolidate our position with the French-speaking Swiss audience," says Fabien Feissli, Editor-in-Chief of watson.ch/fr.
