Red Sport Network launches Digital Hub for the Swiss Handball Federation
Red Sport Network has developed the platform digitalhub.handball.ch for the Swiss Handball Federation—the digital home of top-tier Swiss handball. The Digital Hub offers fans of the two top leagues news, highlights, and live updates on a modern content platform.

Red Sport Network is expanding its commitment to the Swiss Handball Association (SHV) with a comprehensive content platform. The Digital Hub was designed as an integral part of the association's website handball.ch and offers fans of the two top leagues Quickline Handball League (QHL) and Swiss Premium League I (SPL1) a new home for news, highlights and live updates.
As a long-standing partner of the SHV - already responsible for the streaming platform redhandball.ch and the streaming production of handball matches - Red Sport Network is thus further expanding its cooperation with the association.
Four content pillars for maximum reach
The platform is based on a strategic content model with four focal points: Stories provide the latest news, results and statistics in real time. Top Stories offer emotional storytelling with highlights, best plays, "top saves" by goalies and player portraits. Shorts present gripping short videos optimized for social media and mobile use. Team channels enable club-specific channels for all clubs in the QHL and SPL 1.
Technology meets handball expertise
Red Sport Network was responsible for the design, development and technical implementation of the platform. The focus was on seamless integration into the existing SHV ecosystem, mobile-first user experience, social media compatibility and share functions, bilingualism (DE/FR) and free access as a supplement to the existing streaming subscription.
In addition to the platform, Red Sport Network is also expanding the content of the league channels @swisspremiumleague and @quicklinehandballleague on Instagram.
Strategic partnership for top Swiss handball
"The Digital Hub shows how modern sports marketing works: integrated, cross-platform and consistently focused on the needs of fans," says Alex Grimm, CEO of Red Sport Network. "We are delighted to be working with the SHV to take the digital presence of top Swiss handball to a new level."
"With the Digital Hub, we are taking handball to the next level. As a supplement to our existing channels, it is an important step in our digital development and puts our sport on a new stage," says Séverine Tresch, CEO of the Swiss Handball Federation.
With the Digital Hub, Red Sport Network is expanding its involvement in Swiss handball - from production and streaming to content distribution.
