SRF commentator Yannick Ngarambe moves to Energy Zurich
The SRF commentator, who went viral during the Olympic Games with his basketball commentary, will host the morning show «Energy Mein Morgen» alongside Fabienne Wernly, Anja Schäublin, and Roman Kilchsperger. The 36-year-old brings more than ten years of hosting experience and a great passion for basketball to the show.
Yannick Ngarambe went viral with his comments as an SRF commentator at the Olympic Games. Now the event presenter and content creator is taking to the microphone at Energy Zurich to host the morning show "Energy Mein Morgen" together with Fabienne Wernly and Anja Schäublin. Roman Kilchsperger can also be heard regularly.
From passion to profession
Yannick Ngarambe not only has over ten years of presenting experience, but also a passion for basketball. He made his first basket at the age of seven. Now 36, he played in the second-highest Swiss league and won the National League B championship twice with BC Alte Kanti Aarau.
For Yannick, Energy brings everything full circle: "I remember how Energy shaped my mornings before I went to school. The familiar voices were part of the breakfast table. Now to be one of those voices myself is a huge privilege."
Team play at the microphone
His presenting partners are particularly important to him, as Energy does not have a one-man show, but rather two presenters with different characters: "For me, presenting is team play - at the microphone and with the audience. When everyone is allowed to be themselves, something magical happens, and I particularly look forward to these shared moments."
The radio show "Energy Mein Morgen" is broadcast from Monday to Friday from 05:00 to 10:00 on energy.ch or in the Energy app.
