Praesens-Film now works together with Pilot Suisse

The Zurich-based media agency pilot suisse will immediately begin handling media relations for Praesens-Film AG, one of Switzerland’s longest-established film distributors. The agency was awarded the contract following a pitch in which it impressed the client with a focused, cost-effective media strategy.

According to Pilot Suisse, the core of the approach is a cross-media campaign architecture that relies on digital and out-of-home measures to achieve a targeted impact even with smaller budgets. The aim is to make Praesens-Film's various films visible within their respective target groups and thus increase their reach in the Swiss cinema market.

"Pilot Suisse impressed us with their in-depth market know-how and their feel for our individual needs," says Sara Triacca, Marketing Manager at Praesens-Film. "We appreciate the strategic approach that combines creative ideas with a clear understanding of our content."

For Ahmad Hoteit, Managing Partner of pilot suisse, the commission represents a special step: "It is our first mandate in the film sector - and with one of the leading houses in the Swiss market. Our aim is to get the most out of every budget through intelligent planning and local networking."

Praesens-Film is the oldest film company still in existence in Switzerland and has contributed to the international reputation of Swiss film with its productions and distribution rights for over a century. The company is active in the areas of theatrical distribution, film production, home entertainment, public viewing and digital distribution and has received numerous international awards, including four Oscars.

Founded in 2024, pilot suisse AG is part of the pilot agency group and the global Local Planet network. Its clients include companies such as Haier, Garmin, Bora and OBI. The agency focuses on individual media and communication solutions for brands with a "challenger mentality" in the Swiss market.
