RED+ shows all Swiss matches of the EHF European League

The sports streaming service RED+ is further expanding its commitment to Swiss handball and will broadcast all home and away games of Swiss teams in the Men’s EHF European League starting with the 2025/26 season. With this move, one of the leading providers of digital sports streaming is expanding its portfolio to include another top-tier European handball competition.

Three games with Swiss participation are on the program for the kick-off on October 14: Kadetten Schaffhausen face Abanca Ademar Leon at 18:45, while BSV Bern take on Rebud KPR Ostrovia Ostrow Wlkp and HC Kriens-Luzern face Elverum Håndball at 20:45. All matches will be shown live and with German commentary on Red+.

The EHF European League is the second-highest club competition in European handball - directly below the Champions League - and offers the participating clubs a stage to compete and develop internationally.

"We are thrilled to be able to add the matches with Swiss participation in the EHF European League to our portfolio and present these exciting duels to the fans," says Alexander Grimm, CEO RED.Sport Network. "This partnership underlines our commitment to Swiss sport and handball in particular."

Focus on digital strategy and promoting young talent

RED.Sport Network has been a key partner of the Swiss Handball Association (SHV) for some time now. Together, they are driving the digital transformation of the sport: more games than ever are now streamed via the RED+ platform - from the Quickline Handball League (QHL) to the SPL and NLB to the elite junior leagues.

Technological innovations such as multi-angle cameras, video replay and a professional analysis tool offer players and coaches new opportunities to improve their performance based on data. Since the start of the 2025/26 season, a "Match of the Week" has also been produced each round - with a studio broadcast and commentary from the Blick studio in Zurich, which can be viewed live on Blick.ch channels.

By broadcasting the EHF European League, RED+ is strengthening its position as the leading platform for Swiss handball - and bringing fans closer to the action than ever before.
