GC Amicitia Zurich and Maurice de Mauriac launch joint supporter watch
The NLA handball team from GC Amicitia Zurich and the Zurich-based watch manufacturer Maurice de Mauriac are presenting the «GCA Supporter Watch.» The partnership is intended to provide the young team with a platform for further development—a large portion of the proceeds from sales will go directly to the club.
Zurich watch manufacturer Maurice de Mauriac and GC Amicitia Zurich are sending out a strong signal for handball with their new partnership. Together, they are launching the "GCA Supporter Watch", most of whose sales proceeds will go directly to the NLA handball team.
The income is intended to offer the team, which is one of the youngest in the NLA with an average age of 22, an optimal development platform. "It is important that we can offer these players the right environment so that they can continue to develop as people and as athletes," explains Philip Hohl, President of GC Amicitia Zurich. "The partnership with Maurice de Mauriac helps us to finance this platform."
For Leonardo Dreifuss, co-owner of Maurice de Mauriac and former GC Amicitia youth player, the support was a matter close to his heart: "It was clear to us from the outset that we would support GC Amicitia Zurich. In challenging times, it's important to stand together." The club has one of the largest youth departments in Swiss handball and it is crucial that the young players can play handball at the highest level.
The GCA Supporter Watch is available in two sizes: 42mm and 45mm (Big Supporter Watch). The mechanical automatic watch has an ETA 7750 TOP movement, is water-resistant to 100m and comes with a chronograph, screw-down crown and screw-down pushers. The white dial with polished silver indices can be personalized with a freely selectable number between 1 and 99.
