Swiss Magazine celebrates its comeback with Airbus A350
With the introduction of the new Airbus A350, Swiss is bringing back its printed in-flight magazine. The special edition offers 160 pages of fascinating insights into the aircraft’s development and combines the classic pleasure of reading with digital extras.

Sometimes all it takes is a single sound to bring back memories: The rustling of paper when a new page is turned on board an airplane. With the introduction of the Airbus A350, this familiar feeling is returning to Swiss.
"With the Airbus A350, not only is the most modern aircraft coming to Swiss, we are also bringing back the Swiss Magazine as a printed edition," says Léa Wertheimer, Head of Corporate Communications at Swiss. After a three-year break, the in-flight publication is returning in a new form that combines tradition with innovation: QR codes give readers access to additional videos and images.
The special edition on the introduction of the Airbus A350 accompanies the jet from the initial idea to production in the Airbus factory halls in Toulouse to the finished travel experience. On 160 pages, the magazine shows the creation of a modern commercial aircraft, provides insights into the world of Swiss and presents Switzerland from its most beautiful side.
Readers experience the birth of the new fleet flagship, immerse themselves in the Swiss Senses cabin worlds and travel to destinations such as Seoul. The magazine also features personal stories, such as that of a flight attendant on her way into the cockpit. There is a detailed hidden object picture for younger passengers, while aviation fans can try their hand at a quiz.
The new Swiss Magazine creates a balance between print and digital. The haptic experience of leafing through the magazine is complemented by a digital extension at swiss.com/magazine. Online you will not only find additional images and stories, but also exclusive video formats such as "Behind the Wings" or "Ask the Expert".
The special edition is available exclusively on board the new Airbus A350 in the seat pockets and in all long-haul aircraft and selected lounges. For Swiss passengers, the in-flight magazine is also available as an eJournal for personal devices.
