Pawi Packaging receives two prestigious awards
Pawi Packaging received two awards for its packaging solutions: The Empack People’s Choice Award went to its premium packaging for Sprüngli, while the Phonak Sustainable Pack won in the Pharma/Health Care category at the European Carton Excellence Awards.
At the Swiss Packaging Award 2025 in Lucerne, the premium packaging for the Sprüngli Hausass range impressed consumers and won the prestigious Empack Audience Award. The award-winning packaging combines traditional craftsmanship with modern elegance: an embossed relief of Sprüngli's Zurich headquarters adorns the box, which is available in black and gold or white and gold. Precisely laser-cut windows provide the first glimpse, while an elegant fabric ribbon introduces the unpacking ritual. The drawer with gold-finished lid presents the chocolates in a stylish arrangement. The packaging, which is produced entirely in Switzerland, uses sustainable materials and state-of-the-art printing technology.
"A well thought-out concept from A to Z that combines handling, elegance, tradition and environmentally conscious design. We are delighted to receive this special award from the public," says Stephan Springer, packaging developer at Pawi Packaging Switzerland.
Pawi Packaging was also able to impress internationally: the Sustainable Pack developed for the Sonova brand Phonak won the European Carton Excellence Award 2025 in the Pharma/Health Care category. "Successful packaging not only touches the product, but also people - through emotion, experience and the combination of technology and sustainability," explains Olivia Husslage, Packaging Developer at Pawi Packaging Germany.
