Wirz for Allianz: a more relaxed and optimistic view of the future

«Clearly insured by Allianz» – Allianz Suisse continues to strengthen its brand platform. Wirz is responsible for the implementation.

A year ago, Allianz Suisse launched the brand platform "Obviously Allianz insured" together with Wirz. It followed a new strategic direction: optimistic, humorous, close to people. After an initial phase, the platform is now being continued with a new campaign.

Allianz is the world's most valuable insurance brand. In Switzerland, the aim was to make this strength more visible and translate it into an attitude that creates trust. The "Obviously Allianz insured" platform does not get lost in the details, but focuses on the fundamental emotional relevance of first-class insurance products: the tangible, solid confidence in the decisive moments of life that results from the certainty of being well protected.

The new campaign ties in with this basic feeling: Those who know they have Allianz by their side can look to the future with more serenity and optimism. Whether it's a child's first wobbly step or curious cows getting too close to the car - even in unpredictable moments, life remains easier because Allianz provides peace of mind.

At the heart of this are two new films ("First Steps" and "Crash Cows"), which humorously showcase the Allianz feeling. They are complemented by social media content, OOH implementations and digital adaptations. In this way, the brand's attitude can be experienced at all relevant touchpoints - from national awareness to regional activation.

The first wave of campaigns has already strengthened Allianz Suisse on the KPIs of unaided awareness and brand sympathy. The continuation should confirm this course - and anchor the Allianz feeling even more broadly. "With 'Obviously Allianz Insured', we show what Allianz stands for: solid confidence that allows people to look to the future with optimism. This makes us approachable, likeable - and relevant in everyday life," says Claudia Staub, Head of Marketing Communication at Allianz Suisse.

Allianz communication illustrates how companies can also create growth in a rational, low-interest category through targeted, long-term brand management. "Those who don't explain insurance products in abstract terms, but rather transfer their role into everyday life in a comprehensible way and with a view to human sensitivities, increase both sympathy and awareness and thus create measurable brand value," says Patrik Kesseli, Head of Brand, Media & Advertising at Allianz Suisse.
