Eclipse gives the little fat boy a new face

With striking visuals and clever design, Eclipse Studios has repositioned the donut shop in Schaffhausen.

Eclipse Studios is behind the new look of Kleiner Dicker Junge, the well-known donut store in Schaffhausen. The studio of creative minds lends the store a distinctive identity through lively illustrations, minimalist design elements and a unique character. The aim was to create a brand that encourages conscious enjoyment as a companion in everyday life.

A highlight of the redesign is the likeable brand character: a donut with a lot of personality, lovingly designed and illustrated by Eclipse Studios. This character now accompanies customers throughout the entire brand world - from the website to posters and packaging. The photography also follows a clear signature. The portraits staged by Eclipse Studios show people with their eyes closed, consciously experiencing the moment of pleasure. The pictures were taken on First Friday in Schaffhausen and form the visual basis of the current poster campaign.

The creative influence of Eclipse Studios extended to the social media campaign: for the one-year anniversary, a suitable name for the brand character was sought in dialog with the community. The result: the name "Mampfred" was found by voting and celebrated as a new identification figure.

Last but not least, Eclipse also shaped the strategic foundation. Right from the start, a flexible, expandable corporate design was developed to enable future franchise concepts. Today, Kleiner Dicker Junge is ready for expansion and new markets.
