In September 2024, SRG announced that Director General Susanne Wille was reorganizing Corporate Communications. As an initial measure, the teams for Internal Communications, Events & Media Partnerships and the Media Office were merged into one department in the fall. In order to pursue this goal further, it has now been decided to unite Public Affairs and Corporate Communications under one management in future. This will strengthen the integrated and strategic perspective of communication, politics and dialog with the public.

Stephanie Jutzi has been Head of Public Affairs SRG since February 2024 and interim Co-Head of Corporate Communications SRG since November 2024. As part of the strategic realignment of communications, she will officially take over the overall management of the newly created central staff department "Integrated Communications & Public Affairs SRG" in July. Stephanie Jutzi will retain her role as SRG's representative of political interests.

Her current deputy, Lucian Cadalbert, will take on the role of Team Leader Public Affairs and will be responsible for strategic consulting and operational management of the team.

Susanne Wille: "Dialogue with the people of Switzerland and with politicians, as well as active and transparent communication, are of central importance to SRG. SRG not only wants to communicate, but also to be understood. Stephanie Jutzi has made a significant contribution to shaping the new SRG communications organization with her outstanding professional and personal aptitude, her leadership skills and her strategic vision. As an expert in politics and communication as well as a valued member of the extended SRG Executive Board, Stephanie Jutzi meets all the requirements of this responsible role."

Markus Berger.

Markus Berger will take over as "Head of Corporate Communications SRG" at the beginning of August. He is moving to SRG from Switzerland Tourism, where he has been Head of Communications since 2016. Under his leadership, Corporate Communications will be divided into competence teams, which will now also include the Public Value team. The SRG Corporate Communications competence teams, which will in future be responsible for communication and dialog with employees and the public at national level, include Events & Media Partnerships / Channel Management / Media Office / Planning & Content Management / Public Value.

Susanne Wille: "In Markus Berger, we have gained an experienced and committed communications professional who will put his extensive knowledge and broad experience in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at the service of SRG from August. I look forward to working with him and my colleagues in the communications teams to strengthen SRG's communications and align them clearly with our defined corporate goals."

As "Head of Corporate Communications SRG", Markus Berger reports directly to Stephanie Jutzi.

Future-oriented organization

Since Susanne Wille took office on November 1, 2024, communication in the Executive Board has been managed on an interim basis. With the new organization and the filling of the vacant positions, this interim management will be dissolved at the end of June. In future, the various communication disciplines will be consistently coordinated. Communication will be geared towards strategic goals, from which the topics and tasks for dialog will be derived. In addition, the future organizational form will increase transparency and simplify cooperation between the communication disciplines throughout the company so that all internal and external perspectives are integrated.
