Soon no more time for vacations? Knecht Reisen takes advantage of the current US election
In the NZZ am Sonntag, Knecht Reisen is capitalizing on the current events and public attention surrounding the U.S. election for its «Reisewelten» travel fair. The creative agency Ruf Lanz is behind this eye-catching campaign.
The world watched the US elections with bated breath this week: Will Kamala Harris be the first woman to be elected to the White House, or will Donald Trump make a comeback?
The decision of the American people was clearer than expected, and the major Swiss travel specialist Knecht Reisen has reacted quickly and pointedly. In today's NZZ am Sonntag, it shows election winner Donald Trump on a full page with the slogan "Soon no more time for vacations?".
"Neither policy nor person evaluated"
Knecht Travel isdoes not evaluate the politics or the person of Donald Trump. Rather, the company is using the momentum to show a prominent example: Anyone facing new professional or other challenges in 2025 should treat themselves to a relaxing vacation beforehand.
The best offer - or the best deal - can be found at the "Reisewelten" vacation fair in Windisch on November 22 and 23. There, the Knecht Travel Group, with its 13 brands and over 70 exhibitors, gets the public in the vacation mood - and to many destinations that make self-tanning superfluous, as the text ironically puts it.
The creative agency Ruf Lanz is behind the eye-catching campaign. It provides Knecht Reisen with situational support for brand presentations. Knecht-Agentur, the Knecht Group's in-house marketing agency, remains responsible for day-to-day business.
