Change at the Südostschweiz media family
After nearly five years at the helm of the editorial team at Medienfamilie Südostschweiz, Reto Furter and Philipp Wyss are stepping down from their leadership roles.
Reto Furter, previously Co-Head of the Südostschweiz media family, is leaving the company to pursue new professional challenges. Philipp Wyss, previously Editor-in-Chief Online/Newspaper, is moving to the business editorial team and taking over from Stefan Schmid.
Joachim Braun, the previous Co-Head of the Südostschweiz media family, will take over the overall management. The position of Editor-in-Chief Online/Newspaper will be filled by Nikola Nording. The 35-year-old will start in February 2025 and brings extensive experience from her previous role as head of the local editorial office of the East Frisian Newspaper in Leer. With her further training in leadership in Lucerne and St. Gallen, she is ideally prepared for her new role.
