Rosarot and Igora count on facts

Rosarot revamped the brand identity of the Igora Aluminum Recycling Cooperative and launched a nationwide awareness campaign. The campaign highlights the importance of recycling aluminum packaging and makes it clear: Every single aluminum can and every aluminum coffee capsule really does count.

Following the successful collaboration in the area of PET recycling, the Zurich agency Rosarot has won another mandate in the area of recycling with the Igora cooperative for aluminum recycling.

Making a visual and factual impression

As a first step, the agency developed a new, self-confident image for Igora that showcases aluminum recycling with striking black and yellow, silver aluminum and bold typography.

This boldness was also used as an opening for the new brand campaign: In it, the flattened cans make a lasting impression as the carrier of the surprising factual comparisons and convince the viewer of the effectiveness of recycling with the right amount of "oomph" in just a few seconds. The campaign concept was also expanded to include a subject for aluminum coffee capsules.

The campaign shows how much energy can be saved by recycling a single aluminum can or coffee capsule and which everyday activities this energy consumption corresponds to. The scientifically backed calculations were made by Carbotech, a specialist in environmental projects and consulting.

Interaction for maximum impact

Also on the newly designed landing page Alucan.ch a competition raises awareness of which packaging belongs in aluminum recycling. Interested parties can calculate their personal energy savings with an interactive environmental calculator.

The integrated and interdisciplinary campaign focuses on digital media, social media and DOOH media and was launched on Monday.
