Barbara Lanz returns to "Blick"
With an impressive professional background and extensive leadership experience, Barbara Lanz will assume the role of co-head of the Society and People department at Blick effective December 1, 2024. She succeeds Benno Tuchschmid, who is moving to Tamedia as a correspondent for French-speaking Switzerland.

Barbara Lanz brings with her many years of expertise from various Swiss media companies. Most recently, she was responsible for the editorial offices of Radio 24, TeleZüri and ZüriToday as trimedial editor-in-chief at CH Media Entertainment in Zurich. She previously worked for well-known titles such as 20 Minuten and Schweizer Illustrierte. She also worked at Blick from 2013 to 2014 and is now returning to Dufourstrasse with great anticipation: "After my maternity leave, I'm looking forward to hitting the ground running again and creating innovative content together with a motivated team," says Lanz.
She will take office on December 1, 2024. Rolf Cavalli, Head of Editorial Departments and Deputy Chief Content Officer at Blick, is delighted with the new additions: "With Alexandra Fitz and Barbara Lanz, we have a strong duo at the head of the department who will bring fresh and innovative approaches to the areas of society and people."
