Alex Frei, the most prolific international striker in Swiss football history, is now joining the blue Sport team of experts. With 42 goals in 84 international matches and impressive successes at clubs such as Borussia Dortmund and FC Basel, the former national team captain brings profound insights and clear opinions to the team. "I have always found blue Sport to be very competent and enthusiastic about football," says Frei, who is looking forward to working with them.

For Claudia Lässer, CEO of Entertainment Programm AG, the new addition is a significant gain: "Alex Frei will provide a lot of new impetus and deliver valuable insights thanks to his wealth of experience. We are convinced that we will have a competent and charismatic crew at the start for every match day."

In addition to Alex Frei, Pirmin Schwegler, a former Bundesliga player, will also be joining the blue Sport team. In addition, Raphael Wicky, former YB coach and long-time national team player, will be available for expert interviews.

Blue Sport broadcasts all UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League matches with Swiss participation. It starts on Tuesday, September 17, with the match between YB and Aston Villa, followed by further highlights in the top flight. "You can't get more football than this," says a delighted Claudia Lässer. "The new mode in the UEFA competitions means even more excitement and emotion - non-stop football at the highest level from September to January."
