Prior to the elections, the General Assembly on Monday evening amended the statutes without discussion to allow the co-presidency, as the SRG Aargau Solothurn association announced on Tuesday. At German-speaking Swiss level, the prerequisite was created last year that co-presidencies should be possible.

The new Co-President Marina Della Torre has been a member of the SRG AG SO Board for a good two years. She was previously President of SRG Obwalden. The new Co-President Fabian Gressly was unable to attend the meeting due to a stay abroad, as stated in the press release.

New "Regi" editorial manager

Marco Jaggi has been the new editorial director of "Regionaljournal Aargau/Solothurn" since the beginning of May. He was previously deputy head of the regional radio program. He replaces editorial director Maurice Velati, who had been in charge of "Regi" since 2015. Barbara Mathys is the new deputy head of the editorial team.

SRG Aargau Solothurn is the broadcaster of Swiss Radio and Television SRF in the cantons of Aargau and Solothurn. According to its own statements, it forms the bridge between program creators and the public and stands up for independent journalism, which makes a significant contribution to opinion-forming in a democracy.

SRG AG SO is one of the seven regional member companies of SRG Deutschschweiz and is organized as an association. (SDA)
