The discussion format "The Week in the Swiss Language Regions" reports on topics that are causing a stir in the respective language regions. The program is therefore unique in German-speaking Switzerland and makes an important contribution to SRG's public service, according to a press release published on Monday.

In each program, two correspondents provide an overview of the events in their region. They talk about influential people and thus convey the characteristics of their language region. In addition to current topics, they also tell bizarre, surprising or previously hidden stories for German-speaking Switzerland.

On Friday, a correspondent from Romansh-speaking Switzerland will be a guest for the first time. They will be discussing the weekly topics in Romansh-speaking and French-speaking Switzerland.
