Wolfgang Elsässer becomes head of CH Media's national TV channels
CH Media has appointed Wolfgang Elsässer as the new head of its national TV business, effective June 1, 2024. The former CEO of Swisscom subsidiary Blue Entertainment succeeds Roger Elsener, whose resignation had already been announced in October.

Elsässer is a media manager with a strong track record, CH Media announced on Thursday. He will take over the management of the national TV business with the flagship channels 3+ and TV24 as well as the streaming service oneplus and will be a member of the Executive Board, as CH Media writes.
"I am delighted that I have been able to recruit him for my team," CEO Michael Wanner is quoted as saying. The potential of CH Media TV AG is huge, Wolfgang Elsässer is quoted as saying. He is "highly motivated to exploit this potential together with his colleagues."
With the arrival of Wolfgang Elsässer, the restructuring of CH Media's entertainment division has been completed, it was reported. This was split into the two units TV National and Regional Electronic Media last fall (Werbewoche.ch reported). (SDA/swi)
