Julian Thorner becomes part of the Swiss Innovation Forces
Julian Thorner will join the communications department of the Swiss Army’s innovation agency, «Swiss Innovation Forces,» in April 2024. He brings more than ten years of experience as a host across various sectors of the media landscape, including TV, radio, online, podcasts, and live appearances.
Thorner's military career goes back a long way: the former sniper platoon leader is currently serving as a press and information officer (PIO) in Infantry Battalion 61, with the rank of captain.
Julian Thorner's last job was active in corporate communications at Switzerland Tourismwhere he acted as project manager for media relations and media spokesperson. In his new role as Senior Communications Specialist, he will "help to further strengthen the link between innovation and communication and represent the interests of Swiss Innovation Forces in the media", according to a press release.
