Katrina Wenger becomes interim director of Goldau Zoo
The Administrative Commission and the Board of Trustees of the Goldau Nature and Wildlife Park have appointed Katrina Wenger as interim director. Stefan Meier, who has served as director of the wildlife park since July 2022, is leaving the institution.

Meier is moving to Basel to be with his family, writes the nature and animal park in a press release issued on Wednesday. In his role, he has made a significant contribution to leading the zoo successfully into the future, Regula Straub, President of the Administrative Commission, is quoted in the press release.
The 53-year-old Katrina Wenger already works as Head of Marketing, Sales and Education at the zoo and is a member of the management team. Until the organizational realignment and Meier's successor have been clarified, she will hold a dual role, according to the press release. Wenger has many years of experience in the areas of leadership, marketing, sales and the development of corporate strategies. (SDA)
