Blue Sport is stepping up its coverage from the re-start of the Dieci Challenge League on Friday: at least two matches per round will now be commentated live in German and French - instead of one as before. Blue Sport will continue to broadcast all Credit Suisse Super League matches live in all three national languages, accompanied by an extensive program on TV, online on Blue News and on social media channels.

"In addition to the Super League, the Challenge League is also very important to us. With the additional commentary and a stronger focus in reporting, we want to put the second-highest league even more in the spotlight. This also allows us to promote new commentary talents and pave the way for them to enter the TV business," says Claudia Lässer, Chief Product Officer Blue Sport & News.

New experts in ther French-speaking Switzerland

Blue Sport's team of experts in French-speaking Switzerland will also be strengthened: Fabio Celestini, currently coach at Basel, will analyze the UEFA Champions League matches for Blue Sport. The 48-year-old from Lausanne played 35 games with the Swiss national team and played in Switzerland with Lausanne-Sport, in France (Troyes, Marseille) and in Spain (Levante, Getafe) during his career.

In addition to Fabio Celestini, Marco Schällibaum is also a new member of the Blue Sport team. The Zurich native spent many years in western Switzerland. In his career as a professional footballer, he played for GC, Basel, Servette and Lucerne and also made 32 appearances for the Swiss national team. Marco Schällibaum has been a coach since 1994, most recently at Yverdon.

Anthony Braizat completes the trio. The Frenchman led Stade Lausanne-Ouchy into the Credit Suisse Super League as a coach in 2023. As a player, he played for Cannes, Toulouse and Servette, among others. Like Marco Schällibaum, Anthony Braizat will also be in front of the camera for Blue Sport F, particularly around the Credit Suisse Super League.
