Lindenfeld puts itself "up for election" to potential employees

Through an employer branding campaign, the Lindenfeld Care Center aims to show that working in long-term care is an attractive career choice. Furthermore, the center believes that corporate culture, diversity, and a wide range of opportunities are crucial to ensuring that satisfied employees remain in the nursing profession. To that end, the Lindenfeld Care Center in Suhr has entered the election campaign.

To position herself as an attractive employer in western Aargau, Head of Communications & Marketing Simone Mayer-Jacober is taking an unusual approach with an employer branding campaign. "Together with the Head of Human Resources, I decided that we would leave the beaten advertising track and take an original and unusual approach to recruitment in order to position Lindenfeld in an appealing way," says Mayer-Jacober.

The election slogan "Choose us as your employer" was displayed on a total of 30 A0 posters in Aarau and Suhr. Two different group pictures of a total of 19 Lindenfeld employees can be seen. A QR code or link can be used to access the specially created Landing page #TeamLindenfeld can be accessed. In 19 short videos, Lindenfeld employees present their profession and explain why they like working at Lindenfeld and what makes their job special. The videos were shot and edited by Simone Mayer-Jacober herself, and a professional photographer was brought on board for the shoot.

No staff shortage at Lindenfeld

"We find specialists for Lindenfeld and can fulfil our mission of providing specialized care with the appropriate staffing ratio," adds Jolanda Hürzeler, Head of Human Resources. However, it is important that the company continues to be talked about as an employer in order to show that the nursing profession is still attractive and worthwhile.

The campaign started at the end of September and ran until after the official general elections in October. Mayer-Jacober is satisfied with the result. The positions in Lindenfeld have been filled and there has been a lot of praise from the industry, as well as from the political players. "Because with this funny story, we have shaken up the official election campaign for the National Council and Council of States elections a little and made people smile," says the Head of Communication & Marketing.
