Rembrand creates net zero campaign for SAK
A net-zero campaign aims to strengthen the new strategic direction and positioning of St. Gallen-Appenzell Power Works (SAK) and establish its 360-degree energy solutions. The St. Gallen-based agency Rembrand supported the company in this effort with a wide-ranging branding campaign.
SAK is committed to net zero. The energy supplier not only wants to join the "Science Based Target Initiative" and achieve its self-imposed goal of a balanced greenhouse gas balance by 2040. It also wants to make an ecological, economic, social and societal commitment and enable companies and private individuals to become net zero.
Working together towards a greener future. This is how the central idea for the campaign "For a life we all want to live" came about, which SAK commissioned Rembrand to develop and implement.

The new positioning required adjustments to the communicative appearance of the brand. The first step was to get the employees on board. With appealing visuals showing colleagues and their commitment to the environment, the new claim and the additional message "We will achieve net zero by 2040", both the team concept and the employees' own commitment are addressed. Rembrand designed suitable advertising moods for the outdoor campaign and created an image spot as the centerpiece, which is intended to underline the importance of the message in a visually powerful way. Generations have their say and explain why they are involved.
In addition to display and social ads as well as branding pages, the cross-media campaign also includes traditional OOH media throughout Eastern Switzerland.

"It was important to us to package the newly developed brand aspects with the claim 'Good for life', the strategic objectives behind 'Net zero by 2040' and our expertise in the area of 360-degree energy solutions in a campaign with which we can create and anchor an identity both internally and externally," explains Roman Griesser, Head of Corporate Communications at SAK.
