The campaign collective ceases its business activities
The St. Gallen-based political communications and campaign agency Kampakollektiv will cease operations at the end of 2023 after five years. The reason cited is the challenging location and the niche market in which the collective operates.
Founded in 2018 as a network and campaign agency for progressive forces in Eastern Switzerland and after more than 100 projects, where the campaign collective organized events, designed and implemented campaigns, produced posters, flyers, videos, websites and much more, the operation is discontinued.
For five years, attempts were made to establish the campaign collective and lead it into the future, but it was not possible to find a way out of the "hamster wheel", according to the creators. This was partly due to the difficult location of St.Gallen and the market niche of political communication and campaigns. Therefore, after careful consideration and weighing up all the options together with the Board of Directors, the decision was made to discontinue the campaign collective's business activities at the end of the year.
