Bern agency merger: Tasty creates synergies in the digital industry
The merger between the creative agency Cleverclip and the digital agency Comvation, as well as the acquisition of Cubetech, will make it possible to better leverage synergies. The next step is the merger of the three companies—with their nearly 40 employees—into Tasty. The restructuring is accompanied by changes in the agencies’ leadership.
The new Swiss agency group Tasty combines expertise and experience from various specialist areas in order to benefit increasingly from synergy effects in the future. "Tasty enables us to combine the best of three leading Bern-based digital agencies. In this way, we mutually benefit from many years of experience, in-depth expertise and cross-divisional skills," says Tasty Board of Directors Chairman Carlo Badini.
Ten years ago, he founded Cleverclip and has since created over 1,500 explainer videos with his team to simplify the world. For its part, Comvation from Thun has been creating websites, online stores, mobile apps and digital interfaces for 20 years. cubetech has also been dedicated to web concerns of all kinds for 12 years and brings additional know-how to the Tasty Group.
New management at Cleverclip and Comvation
The restructuring into the new Tasty Group also has internal implications: Rahel Schaad is handing over the CEO role at Cleverclip to Fabienne Heer and, for her part, will take over management at Comvation together with Oliver Burkhalter from 2024. "After eight great years at the design-oriented agency Cleverclip, I am looking forward to the new challenge at the technically savvy agency Comvation. We benefit from each other and offer the client an explosive mix that convinces," says Rahel Schaad. The previous Comvation Managing Director Janik Tschanz is moving to the Board of Directors.
For Fabienne Heer, the CEO role at Cleverclip is nothing new. She has already led the company ad interim and has known the company for several years as a project manager: "I am happy to be able to offer an all-round communication solution for our customers with Tasty and am very much looking forward to the increased collaboration with Comvation and cubetech."
