Spectacular party for the 25th anniversary of TBWA\Zurich

The TBWA\Zurich agency celebrated its 25th anniversary with a party that immersed guests in the world of pirates. Why pirates? «It’s meant to embody the rebellious, freedom-loving, and unique spirit,» said CEO Matthias Kiess. Werbewoche.ch captured the event on video.

The party at Samigo on Zurich's lakefront offered numerous highlights in addition to Captain Kiess with bad teeth in a Jack Sparrow outfit. Particularly daring guests were able to get a tattoo while looking over the shoulder of the talented artist Lanthar as she created a work of art specially made for TBWA. With lots of color and a telescope as a symbol of foresight, she enchanted the audience.

The musical framework was provided by DJ Ujo, better known in the industry as Urs Ramsauer, described by his colleagues at APG as the worst DJ of his kind. But the enthusiastically dancing crowd was not at all impressed by such criticisms. Ujo's beats captivated the guests and created an exuberant atmosphere on the dance floor. The Samigo's galley also showed all its skills and spoiled the party guests with exquisite delicacies.

In addition, two talented dialect rappers thrilled the audience with a rousing choreography, while two ravishing drag queens caused astonished looks with their floor gymnastics. Another highlight of the evening was formed by two fearless ladies as fire breathers on the lookout of the Samigo. You simply have to see this spectacle for yourself. Werbwoche.ch has the video...
