The city of Winterthur has developed from an important industrial city to an important service, educational, cultural and also event city. In addition to the attractiveness of the city with accommodation in all price categories as well as an appealing gastronomy scene, Winterthur also scores with event organizers due to its good accessibility by public and private transport.

At this year's Swiss Location Award, the Eulachhallen received the award "Excellent" with 8.7 points in the category event halls. This makes the Eulachhallen one of the best event halls in Switzerland.
More than 58,000 event organizers and visitors, as well as an independent jury of experts, helped to evaluate the nominated locations at this year's Swiss Location Award.
