JvM: Mobiliar thanks customers for 25 years of inspiration

For 25 years, Mobiliar has featured real-life experiences and claims from its customers in its «Liebe Mobiliar» commercials and claims sketches. To thank them for their long-standing inspiration, the insurance company is now partnering with Jung von Matt Limmat on an anniversary campaign that lets all fans of the claims sketches become part of these iconic sketches.

For 25 years, the "Dear Mobiliar" commercials and damage sketches have been an integral part of the Swiss advertising landscape. The cult commercials never cease to surprise with humorous turns of phrase and everyday mishaps. To thank them for their many years of inspiration, Jung von Matt Limmat and Mobiliar have developed an anniversary campaign that brings the damage sketches to life for everyone.

The campaign, which started back in January, is now reaching its first climax: Mobiliar is calling on everyone - by means of a damage sketch, of course - to create their own damage sketch avatar. And thus potentially land themselves on a poster in their own region. This summer, a total of 100 different avatars will be displayed on posters in the various regions of the participants using geotargeting.

The campaign will run for four weeks from May 29, 2023, throughout Switzerland with online assets such as banners and social ads in Italian, French and German. The resulting avatars of the participants will then be posted throughout Switzerland in their respective regions. This will be followed by another highlight of the campaign, which we can look forward to at the end of the year. More than 1000 avatars have already been created by the damage sketch fans.
