Jonas Wittwer switches from Mammut to Grip
The former Head Of Corporate Communication at sports and outdoor outfitter Mammut is moving to Grip. At the Zurich agency, the 31-year-old will increasingly be responsible for mandates in the technology, finance and lifestyle sectors.
Jonas Wittwer, previously Head of Corporate Communication at Mammut Sports Group, has joined the Zurich-based communications agency Grip as Senior PR Consultant, effective April 1, 2023. There he will look after clients from the technology, finance and lifestyle sectors in particular. "I am very happy to return to the agency side after successful years at Mammut. I am very excited by the task of being able to support a range of clients with their different goals and needs," Wittwer is quoted as saying in a Grip statement. Technology and lifestyle topics have always accompanied the 31-year-old professionally and privately, he said. "Grip and I know each other well. We have already worked together intensively over the past few years, and always with great pleasure, which is why we are now tackling the future together," Wittwer continues.
Jonas Wittwer began his PR career in 2016 as a communications consultant at a PR agency in Zollikon ZH and joined Mammut in 2019. Initially working as a communications consultant, he rose to become Group Communications Head in 2020 and Head Of Corporate Communication in the same year. He also spent more than ten years as a floorball goalkeeper in the top Swiss league for the clubs GC and Alligator Malans, as well as in the Swiss national team.
