Martina Vieli to leave SRG at the end of October 2023
Martina Vieli, Head of Corporate Communications at the Swiss Radio and Television Corporation (SRG), will leave the company at the end of October 2023. SRG announced on Tuesday that it would provide «information in due course» regarding the successor to the long-serving Head of Corporate Communications.
Vieli decided to relinquish her functions as Head of Corporate Communications and Member of the Executive Board after seven years, according to the statement. She wants to devote herself to new professional projects, SRG said. Vieli had been with SRG since 2016.
Since 2018, she had built up a new department as Head of Public Affairs. Vieli was entrusted with SRG's political strategy and political representation of interests and worked as a lobbyist in the Federal Parliament, the media company added. As a member of the Swiss Solidarity Foundation Board, she also helped shape the strategic direction of the donation organization for humanitarian crises and natural disasters. (SDA)
