Andreas Böni moves to Blue Sport Zurich

Blue Sport is expanding its team: Andreas Böni will become the new sports editor-in-chief for German-speaking Switzerland. The 40-year-old will assume editorial responsibility for Blue Sport on TV and online starting September 1, 2023.

Prior to that, Andreas Böni spent around 15 years at View the last few years as deputy editor-in-chief of the View Sport. He started his career at the Ringier School of Journalism, after which he worked for four years at Sports image in Hamburg. With "Am Ball mit Böni" (On the Ball with Böni), he has created an informative moving image format in which he analyzes current soccer topics.

As Editor-in-Chief Sports, Andreas Böni assumes editorial responsibility for the sports content of Blue Sport and Blue News. This includes the positioning of Blue News as the "Home of Football" as well as the platform-compatible 360-degree distribution of the created sports content in the entire Blue+ universe. Blue News as a second-screen and first port of call for all football fans is to be further developed with him.
