"Schweiz am Wochenende" grows by Schaffhausen News
The Schaffhauser Nachrichten will be incorporated into the «Schweiz am Wochenende» network but will remain independent as a separate newspaper title.
The Schaffhausen News (SHN) and CH Media are expanding their cooperation: As of April 2023, the Schaffhausen News part of the "Schweiz am Wochenende" network. From then on, SHN readers will receive the cover section of "Schweiz am Wochenende" every Saturday.
The Schaffhausen Newswhich belongs to the Schaffhausen-based media company Meier + Cie AG, and CH Media have already been cooperating editorially for many years, with SHN being able to draw on reports, background information and analyses on national and international topics from CH Media's central editorial team for its journalistic product. The new cooperation does not affect the independence of Schaffhauser Nachrichten and the layout of the main paper also remains the same, the companies announced.
