Helvetas and agency at the airport provide clean drinking water

With a very special mailing, Helvetas and the agency at the airport show that clean drinking water is still not a matter of course in many parts of the world.

Since 1955, Helvetas has been helping the world's poorest countries to help themselves, especially in rural regions of Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe. The January appeal for donations focuses on the issue of drinking water in Bangladesh: the destruction of the ecosystem and climate change are leading to more and more floods. As a result, drinking water reservoirs and agricultural land are becoming salinized. Crop failure, disease, hunger and poverty are the result.

In order to draw attention to the situation of the people affected in Bangladesh, Helvetas commissioned the airport agency to develop and implement an unaddressed donation mailing with a circulation of 100,000. By transforming dirty water into clear water when the letter is pulled out, recipients are made aware that clean drinking water is still not a matter of course in many parts of the world. When the donation mailing is pulled out of the envelope, dirty water turns into clean drinking water.
