CH Media joins the Zurich Journalism Prize

In addition to the publishing houses NZZ, Ringier, and Tamedia, CH Media has now joined as a sponsor of the Zurich Journalism Prize (ZJP). This means the prize is now sponsored by the four largest publishing houses in German-speaking Switzerland. The ZJP thus reinforces its claim to be one of the most important journalism awards in the German-speaking world.

The name and logo of the ZJP will also be given the new claim "The Swiss Award for Media Professionals. This subtitle is intended to emphasize that the ZJP honors journalistic work from all of German-speaking Switzerland. This adaptation has been in place for four years. Two years ago, the ZJP celebrated its 40th anniversary.

"It is important for CH Media to be able to support a renowned journalism prize," Peter Wanner, publisher of CH Media, was quoted as saying in a statement. "We are convinced that we can make the prize even more attractive thanks to the many good works that appear in our newspapers and online portals."

Andrea Masüger, President of the ZJP Foundation Board, adds: "With the inclusion of CH Media in the sponsorship, we have the largest publishers on board. This gives us a solid and credible foundation for further years to award the best works in German-speaking Switzerland."
