Eyeloveyou: Building technology can be this humorous

Eyeloveyou’s new campaign, «We are Tschantré,» playfully showcases building technicians alongside actor René Grünenfelder.

The traditional Basel company Chantré has been around since 1928 - now the building services engineers are getting a fresh look: the campaign claim "We are Tschantré" is at the center of Eyeloveyou's brand identity. The various trades, sustainability ("We are climate") and the 24-hour service ("We are ready") are also communicated in the "We are" style.

The staging of the offer on the website, social media, in digital advertising media, and in print is done with a wink of the eye, in keeping with the exaggerated claims. In short spots and via an extensive picture story, Zurich actor René Grünenfelder rehearses the serious case as a somewhat quirky Tschantré customer and employee in a retro look. Tschantré's company fleet also appears in a fresh look. The flames (heating), air currents (ventilation) and waves (plumbing) depicted are a reference to hot rods - the souped-up American cars with their stylish paint jobs.

Other communication measures such as weather sponsorship on Radio Basilisk and cooperation with Working Bicycle carry Tschantré's environmental commitment to the outside world.
