Liip takes over clients and staff of the agency Nothing

The clientele and staff of the Bern-based digital agency Nothing were taken over by Liip on October 1. The Nothing team joining Liip will continue and expand its activities and specialization in digitalization in the field of sustainable food and agriculture.

The past two years, marked by the pandemic, showed strong growth in the organic food and farming sector. It became increasingly clear how digitization can contribute to sustainability in this sector.

Since the two agencies Nothing and Liip see their purpose in the sustainable, meaningful digital transformation in business and society, they have decided to join forces.

On October 1, all employees of Nothing, founded in 1999, were integrated into Liip. The agency now employs around 230 people in six offices, according to a statement.

According to the announcement, the move comes at a "perfect moment". Plans had been in the works for many years for Nothing founder Bastiaan van Rooden to move to the newly spun-off product company Peerdom. "The strategic spin-off from the Nothing digital agency allows the Peerdom product company to radically focus on scaling its product internationally," van Rooden explained. "It's consistent thinking going forward that Nothing entrusts their projects and remaining team to Liip to seamlessly continue to serve and make a lasting mark on their clients' rapidly growing needs."

For Liip, this step is a clear commitment to Switzerland as a location for development and innovation. It is also intended to further strengthen Liip's leading position as an independent, holistic and long-term thinking digital agency.
